This gorgeous Girard Perregaux Chronograph was produced under contract with Ferrari SpA. The contract lasted for ten years from 1994 to 2004 and had a short stint with Panerai but is now with Hublot. Somehow, collectors favour this collection made by Girard Perregaux.
A classic icon & the Ferrari chronograph came in a variety of combination from steel, halfgold, full gold to platinum & jewellery series. They were also fitted with a palette of coloured dials while some had precious stones on the dials.
This is a rather rare model inspired by F1 technology and finishes of a Grand Prix race car. The case is finished in sandblasted matt look and dial features a weaved carbon fibre which was a pioneer back in 2000. A single owner’s watch in original, unpolished condition & overall=95% excellent with little surface wear so we left it in it’s natural state. There are tiny little dings on the edge of the top bezel but hardly visible to the naked eyes and not quite visible even on the photos here. The original Nomex fibre (Used in F1 racing) on leather strap has hardened and though it can be worn, we don’t expect it to last long. For those who would like to have a piece of the Ferrari mystique, this is as close as it can get!
Highly recommended! Very well priced for the collector & comes with a 1 year warranty from us.
