Description

Vintage. No box/papers & a Passions box/pouch will be given.

This is a very rare vintage chronograph in solid 18ct gold with an original 18ct gold bracelet weighing a total of 135.8 gram and in today’s gold price, this is equivalent to S$18,300.00. Gold prices have declined since the peak in January 2026 but the gold value is undisputed here. Such watches were rare in the past where only the most wealthy could afford one and after almost six decades, these watches are exceedingly rare now.

This Omega Seamaster Chronograph 145.016 dates to 1968 and was sold by Swiss retailer Meister where the company name is signed on the dial. Meister is a Zurich based retailer established in 1881 and remains active today with three outlets while double named dials are not commonly found on Omega watches compared to Rolex or even Patek Philippe.

A highly collectible vintage Omega and a prestigious model in yellow gold while the double signature is an added exclusivity.

Watch has been polished in the past and remains in very good condition. The original bracelet was made in Italy and stamped by Omega. The movement is specially plated in yellow gold and renamed 881 from 861 to reflect the status of the solid gold model. Dial is in near mint condition and all functions checked.

It has the original hexalite crystal with the Omega logo stamped underneath.

Very reasonably priced and a present day replacement model will cost in excess of S$70K.
