This Rolex Oysterdate Precision 6694 was sold new by Tai Hong Hung in Singapore for SGD$942 on 6 Sep 1984 with paper and sales invoice. The bracelet is tight as new with full links. The watch was serviced few years ago and has been polished. The movement is working very well and do take note that there is no quick-set date for these manual winding Rolexes. Watch presents in near mint condition and it is very desirable to find a vintage Rolex with original accessories and local history.
The 6694 was the quintessential Rolex Oyster and a workhorse that spanned over 3 decades. It started with Ref.6094 in a two-piece Oyster case, then 6294, 6494 and finally 6694. Each constantly upgraded over the years with the final one bowing out in the late 1980s with free-spring balance, high-beat movement & thick Oyster bracelet like what we have here. This is a late production model and one of the best condition we’re offering by far.
Procuring this Rolex is owning a piece of Singapore history which is very desirable for any discerning collector.
