2000s IWC, 39mm “Pilot UTC” 3251-001 automatic, dual time, date, anti-magnetic in Steel

This IWC UTC 3251-001 is a discontinued model and this example has the classic pilot dial in black with white accents. This is the first Pilot watch with a dual time zone function and features the open aperture which became a trend a decade later. With a 39mm size, anti-magnetic, water resistance, automatic with date and dual-time, this proves to be a very useful watch for daily wear and travels.

Produced between 1998 to 2005 and with Spitfire dials for later versions. This is a nice modern collector’s item and seldom available in the pre-loved market by now as production has ended for almost twenty years.

UTC stands for Universal Time Coordinated and TZC on the dial stands for Time Zone Corrector.
