Description
Pre-owned. Comes with orig. leather winder box+outer box only. manual & undated paper.
This is one of the most complicated watch developed by Daniel Roth. It features and perpetual calendar, moonphases and chronograph on top of time. This watch was released in two limited editions of 15pieces each 377.X.60 in white gold and Ref.377.X.40 in rose gold which is our watch here and numbered 12 of 15. The base movement of this watch is a Frédéric Piguet Cal.1185 with a column wheel chronograph and vertical clutch while the complications module was a product of Daniel Roth and Philippe Dufour conceived in the early 1990s, making this quite an enviable watch to own today.
Watch has been lightly polished & remains in very good condition with surface micro hairlines that can be easily polished to as-new condition upon request. This is a timeless classic from Daniel Roth & the perpetual calendar is one of the most complicated function for many watchmakers to manufacture.
Daniel Roth watches have witnessed a significant surge in interest by collectors recently and the early models are often snapped up in auctions. Values have increased tremendously and the iconic case shape is now well recognised.
This watch has received a full service recently and functions as it should. A thicker hand-made alligator strap in dark chocolate has been fitted to it which matches the slightly thicker gold case due to the complications. The dial surface is a thing a exquisite beauty and the blued steel hands are easily read unlike other peers. This is a very wearable watch with just 15 pieces made and will certainly add joy to your day.
