This Roger Dubuis Easy Diver Chronograph is a one owner’s watch from new and comes complete with original accessories. This model was manufactured at the pinnacle of the company when Carlos Dias was leading the firm together with the late Roger Dubuis based out of Meyrin in Geneva. It is fitted with one of the best chronograph movement in watch history, decorated, finished to Geneva seal standard and finally tested for chronometer timing at the French Besançon Chronometer Observatory. This was the backbone of Omega’s 321 and Patek’s CH27-70, both brands produced chronographs bearing this movement and are highly sought after by collectors.
Watch is in pristine condition now & may have been polished before but the finishing is factory quality so it could be unmolested. There are no dents nor major scatches & just some micro hairlines to the polished bezel or areas that are commonly caused by handling. Front & rear glass are perfect while pictures are the actual watch.
The “Easy Diver” is part of the Sports Activity Watch (SAW) collection by Roger Dubuis & is water resistant to 300m. Only 888 numbered pieces with this black carbon fibre dial were made.
Roger Dubuis is now owned by the Richemont Group a luxury goods group that has over a dozen important brands in the industry.
When available, this watch was sold for about S$38,000 after discount @ the boutiques so this represents a fantastic bargain now especially for one with this pedigree movement.
