An exquisite beauty. This is a one owner’s watch from new and purchased from London, a very rare and highly desirable Cartier watch under the Tortue collection and comes with the mechanical hand wind movement that can be viewed under the glass back. The rhodiumed 18ct white gold case has 46pcs of factory set brilliant-cut diamonds (Approx 1.70 carats) excluding the diamond set crown. This watch has the large single row diamonds vs the older series with two row small diamonds and Cartier uses some of the finest precious stones in the industry.

This watch has just received a full service by Cartier for S$736.00 where the movement was overhauled, hands changed & case polished to perfection. It is sold with Cartier warranty for 2yrs from Sep 2022.

Our watch here is a discontinued reference and was the earlier Medium model that’s few mm smaller than the current model which retails for USD37900 (S$52000) but both share the same 430MC movement. This is a Piaget ultra slim calibre with 131 components and measures a mere 2.1mm thin & used on all Cartier extra-flat models.

The Tortue was an original design from 1912 that was inspired by a tortoise and hence the name. It offers a unique shape to the then common round or rectangular cases.

A new dark blue alligator strap has been ordered for this watch. Our watch is priced very low and this is a very rare watch that won’t appear often due to the high retail price and Cartier is enjoying a renaissance of late and jewellery pieces like this are usually sold via the boutiques at full retail with no discount.
