We’re delighted to offer you this splendid Audemars Piguet as it has a most elegant Art Deco facade, very thin and possesses a hefty weight due to it’s platinum case. The Tradition Extra Flat is a discreet gentleman’s watch that speaks volume on quality.
Launched in 2013, this rare model was inspired by the original cushion shaped minute repeater wristwatch from 1920s that was made for John Shaeffer. This cushion shaped design was introduced in the 1990s with a variety of complications then discontinued and launched under the “Tradition” collection which has again discontinued. This time only watch was only available in 18ct pink gold and platinum, which is our watch here in the noblest metal.
This model is fitted with the same ultra-thin automatic movement found in the desirable 15202 Jumbo Royal Oak Extra-flat. The movement is finished to very high standards with a pierced solid gold rotor that can be admired under the glass back. There are very few of these that have appeared on the secondary market over the years and the serial numbers fall within a few of one another which tells us of its low production numbers. This watch has been lightly polished with no service history and works very well. The original alligator strap is in splendid condition as seen and makes a great watch for daily wear.
