This is a very fine and rare watch. The Piaget Altiplano in 18ct gold with the exotic green Malachite stone dial. Production has ended which makes the small numbers even more exclusive and thus very sought after by collectors.
Piaget is enjoying a renaissance since 2023 as the horology community shifted focus to stone dials and Piaget is the pioneer of this having launched them in the 1960s and was always bought by clients of astute taste. This watch has a manual winding movement and measures just 7.5mm thin with a 38mm case which makes it a very comfortable size for men and ladies.
Watch is in mint condition throughout with some light user marks and the gold showing patina which adds to the charm. The current 38mm limited edition with a blue lacquered dial in 18KWG retails for $31,300 and stone dials sell for many thousands more.
