Description
Pre-owned. Comes with orig. leather/wood box+outer box & undated paper without manual.
This is an exquisite pre-loved Breguet classic solid gold watch featuring a Perpetual Calendar with Moonphases and a Retrograde date that’s told by a serpentine hand in blued steel.
The polished gold case is in near perfect condition and free from any dents or major scratches with a perfect glass. The original croco strap is in excellent condition and will continue to serve you well for quite a while.
Such watches don’t appear very often so it would be wise to seize this opportunity now. This Ref.3787 is a discontinued model and it is quite a steal to find a grand complications for well under S$50K as a Patek equivalent would’ve cost well over S$70K for a used piece. The fine workmanship of Breguet is unmistakable, the fluted case band, heated blued steel hands and the guilloché dial are features that are simply mesmerising. This watch may only measure 36mm across but the thin bezel rim offers a large dial that projects a larger than usual vision. It has not been serviced and works fine at the moment.
This watch features the traditional engine-turned gold dial with double secret signature and there are six types of guilloché found on this watch, clou de Paris hob-nail for the main dial, Satiné circulaire (circular satin brushing) on the chapter ring, waves below the moonphase, Sauté piqué on the minute track, a braided pattern on perimeter and finally, Grain d’orge circulaire (circular barleycorn) on the solid gold rotor.
Breguet is one of the oldest watch maker dating back to 1775.
