Description
Vintage. No box or paper but a Passions box will be given.
This is a very attractive vintage watch by Jaeger LeCoultre dating to 1945 just at the end of WW2. This is a very desirable jumbo sized watch with attractive tear-drop lugs in 36mm solid 18ct yellow gold case with snap-on back. The weight of this watch is immediately felt the moment you hold it and weighs about 34grams. It takes about 19 winds to full power reserve.
This watch is almost eighty years old now and to have survived the war in Europe plus so many decades since, if only it could speak but the patinated dial informs us the passage of time it has witnessed.
Our watch here features a glistening gold gilt movement that shines like new and has a shock-resistant Parechoc spring to protect the balance in case of a fall. This Cal.P450/4C features an indirect center seconds and is finished to very high standards.
It takes about 19 winds on the crown to full power reserve.
A very attractive vintage in oversized solid gold case with seductive lugs.
