C.1951 Rare Rolex 31.5mm Oyster Perpetual Bubbleback Ref.6011 Chronometer Explorer dial small seconds in 14KYG engine turn bezel

This is a very pretty Rolex Oyster Bubbleback in solid 14KYG dating to 1951, featuring the non-lock Super-oyster crown and more importantly, small seconds on an original dial which is very desirable. This Ref.6011 Oyster Perpetual Officially Certified Chronometer is a rare two piece case model with engine turned bezel.

Watch is in excellent condition for it’s age with a new low-profile crystal fitted & movement serviced in 2017. The Squirrel 14K hallmark is clearly visible under the lower-left lug & stamped again inside the back cover. The movement remains in sparkling condition which is an eye candy after 70yrs. All other numbers plus stamping marks are visible & the details of the engine turned bezel remains clearly visible which shows that this watch was not abused. Bubblebacks with small seconds is a highly sought after feature and this watch the beginning of a new decade right after WWII.

These vintage Rolexes can be worn as daily watches as long as you adhere to 2 simple care.

1) They’re not waterproof, don’t let moisture enter them so be careful when you wash hands & keep away from rain but you’d be using an umbrella.

2) Don’t drop them like you shouldn’t on any watches
