Description
Vintage. No box or papers and a Passions pouch will be given.
A gorgeous vintage Omega dating back to 1952 and an absolute gem, one of the most charming vintage we haven’t seen for a while. It measures a large 36mm across which is huge for a post War years production watch and cased in solid 18ct Pink gold. It has a beautiful hob-nail textured dial in original condition, showing good patina and the appliqué pink gold indices are a delight. It takes about 17 winds on the crown to a full power reserve.
Upon opening the back cover, you will be greeted by an in-house manufacture movement Calibre 266 that’s descended from the famous movement Cal.30T2. This movement is plated in pink-gold and in stunning condition, shining with a sheen as if it has just left the factory. This alone is a compelling reason to purchase this vintage Omega as movements in this condition, from this age is very very difficult to acquire.
This watch is over 70 years old now with a charming character not to be missed while the pink gold speaks of opulence. The movement was overhauled and a light polishing done on the gold case. A great conversation piece that’ll be at home in any collection for the size, quality and dial.
