Description
Vintage. Sold with a period vintage Omega box.
We are delighted to offer you this beautiful vintage Omega that we acquired from an elderly lady in Singapore who has kept it for over three decades. The watch with its accompanying bracelet is in 18ct white gold and the watch dial is hidden under a spring loaded hunter cover that is decorated with a bouquet of tulip flowers set with 5 brilliant-cut diamonds. There are further twenty diamonds set onto the hooded lugs of the case that add to the bling. The numbers of the movement dates this watch to circa 1966 while the case and buckle are stamped with respective Omega logo and markings.
We cannot guarantee if this watch is an original Omega design as many such jewellery watches in the past were custom made or modified by jewellers for their clients. This watch benefits with authentic Omega stamping marks and is likely an off-catalogue watch as they were not mass production items.
The original dial is finished to a very attractive hobnail pattern and the pink gold gilt manual winding movement is clean and keeps time. The white gold bracelet fits a 16cm wrist and minor adjustments can be tailored for your wrist.
This watch weighs about 32grams, and at the current retail price of 18K gold at S$188/gm makes this worth S$6000 in weight alone.
A very elegant that it will surely invite admiration from many and a heirloom to pass down your legacy.
This watch is not waterproof like an other vintages.
Very reasonably priced.
