This is an early Tudor Oyster Prince Day-date and rather rare with the large 37mm case so this will be well-liked by collectors who prefer a larger case. It is under Ref.7017 and the case no dates to 1969. It is fitted with an AS movement with 21 rubies and does not have hack-seconds nor quick-set functions so you’d need to do the 9-12 adjustments to quick-set the date while making two revolutions change the days and this is exactly the same for the vintage Rolex Day-date Ref.1803.
The original silvered dial shows light patina and has micro bubbles but not visible to naked eyes. It is fitted with an original Rolex Jubilee bracelet from late 70s and is a perfect match for this watch which oozes the iconic Oyster charm @ a very affordable price. The bracelet is soft and very comfortable on the wrist.
Watch has an old polish and presents very well now. A free service is given for this watch within a year that’s worth S$500.
