C.1970s Corum 34mm manual winding with date and silvered linen textured dial with Roman Nos in Steel

This is a very charming vintage Corum wrist watch in stainless steel case. The watch is in very good condition, showing just light surface marks that’s negligible to the naked eyes and the back has been re-brushed before but doesn’t harm the value. The dial is where it captivates. The silvered linen surface shows fine interlocking lines that radiates under light and Roman numerals in black tells the hours. It has a sweep center seconds and a date window making this a practical daily watch. The main spring is strong, works for more than 42hrs and timing is very good at -3 to +10 secs a day with an almost perfect timing on the crown down position which is outstanding for a 50 yrs old watch and non-chronometer spec.

Great value for money and an alternative from the usual Omega and Rolex watches. A new strap has been fitted and a fantastic watch for any collectors who prefer a quiet luxury vintage yet very stylish watch from the 1960-70s era. You really can’t find much beautiful vintages from a pedigree brand under SGD$2000 these days.
