C.1973 vintage Omega 42mm Ref.145.022-71 “Speedmaster Professional Moonwatch” Lemania Cal.861 in Steel

Vintage. Comes with orig. box but no papers.

This vintage Omega Speedmaster Moonwatch is a one long time collector’s watch that’s just been acquired by us after much persuasion and very reasonably priced for the collector.

It has general surface wear throughout & the factory brushed finish is visible on the case band so we left it as it is. The original hexalite crystal has heavy wear but dial is clearly legible and the Omega logo can be spotted underneath the center spot. Upon unlocking the back cover, you’ll be greeted by the soft-iron core cover that protects the movement and there are no signs of corrosion around the joints of the case and some old mild pitting on the rim of the back cover that has no further rust which is good news. Again, the pink gold gilt movement shines brightly with no signs of abuse. The original dial shows patina and discoloured tritium batons match the hands.

It is sold without the bracelet and comes with a brown Nato leather strap only but the 20mm lug size can be easily filled with a variety of straps or bracelets.
