C.1980s Rolex 36mm Oyster Perpetual “Datejust” Chronometer ref.16014 in 18KWG & Steel. 1 owner and fresh RSC $3.9K service

Vintage. Comes with orig boxes but missing inner platform and no papers.

This Rolex Datejust was subjected to a complete refurbishment by Rolex Centre Singapore with an invoice dated 31 Mar 2024 for a whopping S$3915.50.

This is a one owner’s watch from new and purchased from an AD in Singapore during the early 1980s. The vendor has another solid gold Day-date President that we’re listing for sale as well.

The original bracelet of this watch was in poor condition and under the advice of Rolex SC, the owner replaced it with a brand new 555-62510 Jubilee steel bracelet costing S$1600+

There are several parts that were replaced during the refurbishment including a set of dial and hands (non-tritium) and the complete job was documented and this watch is sold with remaining two years international Rolex warranty till 31 March 2026.

This is probably the only Rolex 16014 Datejust out there in the world right now with such a cash value added to it. Except for the polished case and 18KWG bezel, this watch is virtually new now which offers chronometer spec movement and waterproof.

A worn out 16014 is easily selling for S$6K plus these days.
