Description
Pre-owned. Comes with the original box and paper.
Here’s a very rare watch by Piaget, housed in a platinum case with a manual winding movement and a blue center dial. Only 50 pieces of this were produced and each individually numbered and our watch bears an auspicious No.38.
33mm was the choice of a gentleman in the neo-classicism era when the likes of Patek, VC and other hi-end watch makers produce fine watches of this size that was actually larger than the 30mm worn by men of that time. Anything larger was considered over-sized and a little impolite.
This model was sold in the late 1990s under Ref.GOA18026 & named Gouvernor.
An incredibly refined dress watch that speaks volume when strapped onto your wrist. The weight of platinum is to be felt and the navy blue tuxedo dial with Roman numerals add a touch of aristocracy. This is a watch for the collector who appreciates quality and exclusivity.
Sold with the original croco strap in used condition and fitted with the original platinum buckle. This watch will serve you faithfully for many decades to come and is a great daily companion for a very low cost. Case shows some minor wear and can be polished upon request.
Great value for the money and sold with Passions warranty.
