This is a new old stock item discovered in a military surplus store. We only have a dozen pieces so while stock lasts. This black dial version is a simple time only watch and does not have the hack seconds function. These black dial versions have survived better than the white ones and most are free from blemishes and a few presents like new but do expect to find some age. The lume do grow in the dark which is quite a delight. Some may not work well and you will have to service it at own expense.

These were made in UK under Smiths Industries Ltd in UK. Each is stamped on the movement and signed on the dial while cases are not marked or numbered as they were mass production items built like clocks. These are not your fine Swiss watches but built to working class standard, very robust and do last many decades. Do not expect them to be accurate.
