New Old Stock 1960-70s Smiths 51mm open face pocket watch white dial manual wind in chromed case

This is a new old stock item discovered in a military surplus store. We have only a dozen pieces so while stock lasts. This white dial version has a stop time function by pressing the crown, it would stop the seconds aka hack-seconds which is good for synchronization.

Most of the dials show some blemishes and age due to humidity in tropical Singapore. Otherwise, they were dry stored. Some may not work well and you will have to service it at own expense. These were made in UK under Smiths Industries Ltd in UK. Each is stamped on the movement and signed on the dial while cases are not marked or numbered as they were mass production items built like clocks. These are not your fine Swiss watches but built to working class standard, very robust and do last many decades. Do not expect them to be accurate.

They are nice collectible items and what is fascinating here is the new old stock condition. They are sold with the orig box and paper which is near impossible to find. Get your Smiths from us today.
