The Omega Sapphette line (Saphette in French) was a small watch for women that was first launched for the American market in 1954. It was an immediate success and was taken to launch worldwide in the following year. The Sapphette line would enjoy a global success for more than twenty years.

In 1995 a 40th anniversary collection was created to honour this fashion line & this watch is one of those. They were made in limited numbers of which exact numbers are unknown but it cannot be too many. This watch was discovered by our agent in an old authorised dealer’s safe & a pair was acquired by us. They have been lightly polished to restore it’s original glory and fresh batteries fitted. It is sold with a one year warranty by us now.
