Pierre Kunz, “Cupidon Triple retrograde” Ref.M102 STR in Steel with diamonds

New Old Stock. Comes with orig. wooden box+outer box & undated paper in pouch. This is a lovely watch with a baby blue heart @ the centre of the dial which features a triple retrograde jumping seconds and a gorgeous sunburst corrugated surface radiates from it. The steel case has two rows of brilliant-cut diamonds set onto the bezel & lugs which will melt any woman’s heart.

On the heart, it writes in French, “A La Folie”, “Beaucoup” & “Passionnement” which roughly means “Has the madness with a lot of passionately” or “Love, desire & passion”.

This watch is fitted with a very interesting movement which is unusually large for rectangular ébauche measuring about 23 x 31mm & features bridges laid out in an antiquated style from the early 20th century but it is definitely a beautiful sight to behold when you turn the watch.
