Robergé Lady’s “Dorado” Black resin with gold dust & diamonds in Steel

Pre-owned. No box/papers. This is a one owner’s watch that’s only worn for a few times so it is mint as new & needs nothing while the original strap is in fantastic condition. In fact, the factory seal is still on the back cover as you can see from the picture. Unfortunately, she lost the accessories when they moved which is a common problem.

This is a very pretty watch with 1920s Art Deco influence. Look at that evocative jet-black case which looks like a piece of sculpted gold-dust stone but is actually made of resin with speckles of gold (another material that was de rigueur in the 1920s onwards) & those black enamelled sectors with diamonds between are so typical Art Deco motifs.

A very lovely watch for the lady for a very good deal now.

Robergé is a Swiss company based in Genève & founded in 1972 by Robert Mouawad. They manufacture high complications such as tourbillon & repeaters, marrying high-jewellery into their collection as well.
