Vintage. No box or papers & a Passions box/pouch will be given.
This Rolex Oyster Speedking dates to the early 1950s when Rolex experimented with non-screw-lock crowns.
The 2pc Oyster steel case has been lightly polished and a new crystal replaced so it looks really good now. The 17 rubies manual winding movement is in good condition and keeps time but this is not a chronometer and a 70yrs old watch so high accuracy is not possible. Do bear in mind that these vintages are not water resistant nor shock-proof so please use it with care and it can be a daily watch for many years to come.
This particular example has a very desirable naturally aged dial with gold markers in Arabic numerals, arrows and a small crown. Later models come with a big crown and simple batons but are never as desirable and when it comes to Rolexes, the dial makes all the difference.
Further 3% discount for non-card payment and 6 months warranty for vintages.
