This is a rare limited edition Tag Heuer chronograph made to honour the mighty Mercedes Benz McLaren SLR. This high performance sports car was produced between 2003 to 2010 with a 5.4L V8 supercharged AMG engine delivering 617hp and 0-60mph in 3.4 secs. This was the only joint production car between the German and British carmaker and only 2157 units were made.
Only 3500 numbered watches were produced and this is one of them.
The left crown adjusts the internal anti-clockwise rotating bezel with a white triangle marker. The pushers are uniquely placed on the slanted top side of the case shoulder. Watch is lightly used, showing very mild surface wear and doesn’t have any serious dents nor scratches. The original alligator strap shows some wear but will serve you well for a while longer.
The PVC box has deteriorated and delivered with the outer box.
