Description
Vintage. Accompanied by a vintage Jaeger box but no papers. This is an extremely rare chronographi by Jaeger and was produced in the late 1930s for the lady’s market with the case measuring a mere 26mm in diameter and a special movementi by Valjoux was produced for it. However, during that period few ladies participate in sports & such specialized watches were never popular so the production was short-run.They were the smallest wristwatch chronographs ever produced & today they are prized among watch collectors. This watch was completely restored by the Jaeger LeCoultre factory for US$1100 in Nov 2000 with invoice. The dial, hands, case & movt. have been restored in the factory by their master watchmakers. The tedious process took almost two years to complete & it has an Archive Report certifying the authenticity of this watch.
